Welcome to Nestled in Time Photography! I’m Joanna Law, and my passion for preserving the beautiful memories of motherhood and the first days of newborns stems from my own journey as a mother. Every photograph I take is infused with the love and joy I feel when I look at my children.

I am also certified in newborn safety for photography, ensuring that your little one is always in the safest hands. Additionally, I am a certified newborn and photography educator by Ana Brandt. Ana Brandt is a world-renowned maternity and newborn photographer who has set the industry standard for excellence and safety. Being certified by her means I have undergone rigorous training and adhere to the highest standards in the field.

Here are a few of the steps we’ve taken to ensure a safe experience for your and gorgeous images:
- We’ve taken posing and safety classes by the world renowned, awarding winning newborn photographer and Canon Master, Kelly Brown.
- Joanna Law (photographer) is certified by the American Red Cross in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
- We’ve been mentored one-on-one with Southern California renowned newborn photographer, Stevie Cruz Photography.
- We continue our newborn photography education with world-renowned photographer and photography mentor, Ana Brandt.
- We’ve also taken a newborn handling and safety class at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
- We’re participants of an online newborn photography safety community, American Association of Newborn Photography Safety, AANPS.
- Via AANPS, we participate in discussions regarding newborn safety concerns with other professional photographers to stay on top of all the latest safety skills for newborn photographers.
- We are up to date on our Covid (as allowed by local and state mandates), flu, DTAP, tetanus, and hepatitis vaccinations.
- Our studio is cleaned before and after every newborn session.
- All wraps, props, and covers are also cleaned and sanitized as necessary and after every session.
